IMPHAL, June 22: The All Manipur Arts and Culture Students’ Union (AMACSU) has once again strongly made an appeal to the state government to take up immediate action to include a culture class, particularly performing art in all the schools in the state on Friday.
It had submitted Memorandums to some ministers of SPF-I government and other concerned departments, including Commissioner and Secretary of Art and Culture Department on the proposal, AMACSU said in a statement.
The statement said the same copies of the memorandum have also been submitted as a reminder to the other MLAs of the present Manipur Legislative Assembly too.
AMACSU said it requests the government to discuss the proposal in the upcoming Assembly session slated for June 27.
