Doner director to visit Imphal

IMPHAL, June 14: Ministry of DoNER, Director Rohtash Singh will be on a four day visit to the state and inspect several projects in the state undertaken with fundings from the NLCPR including in Moreh starting June 20.

He will further meet the state Chief Secretary and other Heads of Departments including Power, PHE, PWD, MI, Health, Vety, YAS, TA &Hills, Tech Edn, Edn (s) Edn (U), BRTF, RIMS, MU, SW and talk about the completed/ongoing and retained projects funded under NLCPR in the secretariat conference hall, a source informed.

According to a reliable source, the DoNER Director will be arriving at the state capital at around 10:40am of June 20.

Soon after his arrival he will be visit Loktak Lake, Sendra, INA Moirang, Thanga Water Supply, Keibul Lamjao Water Supply, Keibul Lamjao National Park, Kumbi Bridge on Khuga River, District Vety Hospital, Bishnupur, Leimaram Irengbam Water Supply and Konthoujam Water Supply the same day.

The next day on June 21, he will depart for Moreh accompanied by oficials of Power and PHE and inspect Moreh 33 KV SS, Augmentation of Moreh WS among other sites, the source said.

He will return to Imphal the next day on June 22.

According to the source, on the morning of June 22, the Director will visit sites including modernization of Kakching Ithei Maru, Sapam WS, Mini Barrage at Wangjing Canteen Lampak, Thoubal Mathak Keirambi RCC Bridge.

The source further said he will also visit Babu Bazar Bridge, Haokha Bridge, Waithoupat WS, MIT Building at MU, Kiyamgei Bridge, 33 KV DC line at Mongsangei to Khuman Lampak via Kongba, Mongkhang Lambi Bridge, Singjamei Bridge, Thombuthong Bridge, Keishamthong Bridge.

During the evening the same day, he will visit Lamlong Bridge, Sagolmang 33 KV, Sawombung-Sagolmang Road, Itam Barrage, Chingarel Mapa Bridge, Khomidok WS, Lamshang-Khongampat Road, Dharmasala building at RIMS.

He will leave for the national capital on the evening of June 23.
