IMPHAL, June 13: ISAV Kongpal lifted the NG Samu trophy defeating KVFA Khurai 2-0 in the final today of the NG Samu Memorial Veteran Football Tournament at YWC Malom ground.
N Itocha scored both the goals of the final match in 30th and 52th minutes.
N Itocha (ISAV) and Japhudoi (TRVSA) won the Top Scorer prize for scoring 7 goals during the tournament. A Priyobrata (KVFA) won the Best Goalkeepe, T Shyam (ISAV) won the best player of final match, K Kanhai (TRVSA) took the Oldest Player prize.
The winner was awarded a cash prize of Rs 25,000 and the runner-up KVFA was awarded a cash prize of Rs 15,000.
