IMPHAL, June 16: Manipur (Boys & Girls) stormed into the pre-quarterfinal of the 25th Sub junior National Softball Championship held at Cuttack, Orissa.
The Manipur boys’ team headed for the pre-quarterfinal after defeating Utter Pradesh 12-0 runs and Bihar 14-0 runs.
Meanwhile, in the girl’s league, Manipur defeated Maharashtra by 14-0 runs. Later, Manipur got a bye as Jharkhand did not turn up.
In the pre-quarterfinal Manipur (Boys) will clash with Karnataka and Manipur (Girls) will clash with Bihar tomorrow.
