While congratulating the organizers for felicitating the students, he assured his contribution in organizing such felicitations every year.

Elaborating on the teacher student relationship, he said a teacher’s most important duty is to understand how to produce a good student and act on it.

Meanwhile, he said that questioning is the essence of life, we should not be afraid of questioning and said without soul a body is useless.

Meanwhile, Social Activist, Dhanabir Laishram who was a guest of honour at the felicitation programme said teachers in the state are yet to fully understand the essence of being a teacher which is unfortunate not only for the students but for the whole state.

The social activist also said that with the rise in numbers of students in the state, the authorities should ensure that quality education is provided to all students of the state.
