IMPHAL, July 4: Imphal West police commandos in the last two days have arrested six cadres of the KCP-MC (Maoist) and seized one kilogram of explosive material.
According to a statement issued by the SP, Imphal West, the arrest includes one Ngangom (O) Mutum Sakhenbi,27, wife of late Naoba , self styled Finance commander in chief of the outfit was arrested from Yurembam.
The others are Shanoujam Sunil Mangang alias Sanatomba, 28, s/o late Chaoba Mangang of Kokchai Mamang Leikai, Mayang Imphal. Md Amir Khan,s/o Md Jan of Thoubal Mangjin Wangmataba. Heikrujam Manaocha Khuman,29, s/o H Yubi Singh of Seijang Mayai Leikai, one kilogram of IED material and two detonators were seized from him.
The other cadres are Meisnam Momocha alias Bungo Meitei,25,s/o M Sajou Meitei of Takhel Mamang Leikai and Laitongjam Dinesh Meitei alias Peto,41,s/o L Kesho Meitei of Takhel Mamang Leikai.
