ACOAM-Lupcelebrats 12th Foundation Day

IMPHAL, July 2: ACOAM-Lup (All Club, Orgn, Association &MeirapaibiLup), Kangleipak, Manipur celebrated its 12th Foundation Day at Press Club, Majorkhul, Imphal today.

The function was attended by H Kula, advisor, ACOAM-Lup, Kangleipak, IndrakumarNingombam, president, ACOAM-Lup, Kangleipak and AchomBoboMeetei, advisor, ACOAM-Lup, Kangleipak as the chief guest, president and guest of honour respectively.    

Addressing the keynote, SanjitSaraisam said that ACOAM-Lup was formed for the welfare of the people of the state. Since its inception, ACOAM-Lup has been helping orphans, disabled children and also the people who do not anyone to look after them.

He further said that ACOAM- Lup has provided assistance to the orphanages in the statein connection with the foundation day celebration.

He alsoexpressed his willingness to unite all the organizations/associations and work together for the welfare of the people.

H Kula, who attended the function as the chief guest, said that all the civil societies in the state should work together to bring an end in selling of votes by the voters at the time of election.

He also requested to all the voters not to take money from the candidate while casting their votes during the election.

Further, he said that India has been playing the divide and rule policy by taking advantage of the disunity among the communities living in the north eastern region.We need to unite first to bring development in the north east states. It is only us who are dividing among ourselves.

Giving an awareness on the present issue of implementing Inner Line Permit (ILP) system in the state, he said that implementation of ILP in the state is a must to save our future generation. The lack of awareness among the MLAs/Ministers and general public has failed to implement it.
