IMPHAL, July 27: AIFA, Irengband is on the line of relegation from the Kakching Super Division Football league after failing to secure a single point from its six match of the league.
In its final match today during the second ground match of the day, AIFA was humiliated by YWU, Kakching with a 9-1 defeat.
YWU with today’s big win has 10 points and is at the third spot on the points table.
In the first match of the day at the DSA Ground Kakching, UBSA, Mantak defeated SWC, Keirak by 3-0.
With 13 points after today’s win and a match remaining, UBSA is hoping for the championship.
On the other hand SAO, Kakching with the same points is at the top of the table point on goal difference.
Meanwhile, in the group B matches of the ongoing Thoubal 1st Division Football league tournament at KRC, ground today, City Club, Heirok defeated RYDO, Charangpat by 3-0 while RPU, papal defeated SYVO, Samaram by 2-1.
