IMPHAL, July 12: All Manipur Progressive Farmers’ Association (AMPFA) has demanded the state government to implement the Agricultural Produce Marketing Act for uplifting the socioeconomic conditions of the state farmers. It said that all other northeastern states have already implemented the Act and so the state government should take up necessary steps to frame the agricultural policies, stated a release.
