IMPHAL, July 3: Discovering the movement of UG cadres in New market,Ward No.6,Moreh town, troops of 9 Assam Rifles of 26 Sector under HQ IGAR (South) launched operation in the area and apprehended two UNLF cadres on July 2. The apprehendees were identified as SS Pvt Oinam Naoton Singh,38, s/o Late Oinam Bungindha singh of Ward No.6,Moreh and SS Pvt Oinam Bijon singh Meitei of Heinou Makhong,Ward No,7,Moreh. One 9 mm Pistol with magazine and two live rounds,two Chinese hand grenade and one mobile phone were recovered from the apprehendees who alongwith recoveries were handed over to Imphal West police station.
