IMPHAL, July 11: Advanced Volunteers`™ Organization, AVO Kakching and Friendship Sporting Club, Kakching registered wins in today`™s matches of the 5th Kishorekumar Memorial 1st Division League Football Tournament, 2012 at DSA, Kakching playground.
In today`™s first match AVO defeated Uyok Chingya Club, UCC, Kakching by 2-0.
Both goals were scored in quick succession in the first half of the match, with Indranath opening the scoreline for the winning AVO team in the 15th minute of starting play.
Chinglen added another just two minutes from the first goal in the 17th minute.
Second half remained goalless for both teams.
In the second ground match of the day, FSC blanked South Eastern Sporting Union, SESU, Kakching by 6-0 in a one sided match.
Bishorjit helped his FSC with a hattrick. He scored his first on the 11th minute of play followed by two others in the 60th and 74th minute.
The other scorers for the team are Nurkhan (32nd), Thangkhopao (54th) and Naoba (80th).
Abhijit of SESU was shown the yellow card in the 5th minute of play.
IYA Kakching will meet UCC while YSA, Langmeidong will meet FSC, Kakching on July 13.
