IMPHAL, July 11: CHAMP, Khagempalli defeated OSCAR Paona Bazar by one wicket in today`™s match of the MCA, U 16 Cricket Tournament, 2012 at Luwangpokpa Cricket stadium.
The tournament is organized by the Manipur Cricket Association.
OSCAR after winning the toss, elected to bat first and put a total of 60 runs on the scoreboard.
The OSCAR batsmen were all out in 30 overs.
CHAMP bowler Karim struck five times while, Indrabal took two wickets.
Wilson scored the highest with a 15 runs from 24 balls.
In their reply, CHAMP scored 62 runs in just 19.1 overs with nine wickets down.
David was the highest scorer with 14 runs of 34 balls.
OSCAR bowler Wilson took seven wickets bagging the Man of the Match, while Chingkhei took two wickets.
Thoubal District Cricket Association will meet YWC, Langthabal in tommorrow`™s match.
