IMPHAL, July 26: CRAU Khamnam Leirak defeated Thoubal District Cricket Association by 4 wickets in the ongoing MCA U-16 Cricket Tournament at Luwangpokpa Cricket Stadium today.
Thoubal District won the toss and elected to bat first and scored 77 runs in 27 overs all out. Premkumar scored 18 runs in 18 balls, Herokumar scored 13 runs in 23 balls.
CRAU bowlers, Joychandra took three wickets, Bode and Washington took two wickets each.
In the second innings batting, CRAU reached the target run of 78 in 23 overs with 6 wickets down. Chingkhei scored 22 runs and Bode scored 9 runs.
Thoubal District bowlers, Premkumar, Shib and Arish took two wickets each.
Joychadra of CRAU was declared man of the match.
