IMPHAL, July 29: A deer found at Kabui Khunou near Sawombung Forest Gate has been handed over to the officials of Manipur Zoological Garden today.
The villagers told that the female deer was found near the bank of Iril River. The villagers chased and captured the deer with the intention of preventing her from the hunters.
She was later handed over to the officials of Manipur Zoological Garden for her safe custody.
