IMPHAL, July 24: A Chinese hand grenade was found inside the compound of Catholic Medical Hospital, Koirengei, Imphal East under Heingang Police Station. A hospital security came across the grenade today morning at around 8:10 am. The grenade was pickup by a team of Bomb Squad safely at around 9:30 am. According to a source, there were some demand phone calls received by the hospital a month ago from some militant groups, but the motive behind it was yet unknown.
