JDDC submits memorandum to CM

IMPHAL, July 30: The Jiribam District Demand Committee (JDDC) has submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister Okram Ibobi today urging him to fulfill all 11 points as agreed in the memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed between the state government and JDDC on November 9, 2011.

The memorandum submitted to the Chief Minister mentioned that out of the 11 points of MoU, nine points have not been implemented so far. The JDDC is perturbed by the acts of state government who has sidelined the districthood of Jiribam even after a MoU was signed last year.

The JDDC is prepared to launch stern agitations if the state government fails to implement all11 points of MoU within a specific time frame.
