Lions Club of Imphal City donates computer set

Manipur, IMPHAL, July 30: Lions Club of Imphal City has donated a computer set and study materials to Yaibilen Children Home located at Keibi Sanapat in Imphal East district in a simple function held at the home today.

The study items donated to the children home were 75 exercise books, 15 school bags, 30 pencils and one dictionary compiled by Rk Shitaljit. Juice bottles and eatables were also given to the children.

The function was attended by Lions Club of Imphal City president Th Kesho and founder member of Yaibilen Chidren Home Irengbam Lukhoi as the chief guest and president respectively.

Speaking at the function, Yaibilen People’s Charitable Trust secretary MK Illawar stated the orphans must be supported by all sections of the society and help in the human resource development of the state.

President Yangoi Piba appreciated the Lions Club of Imphal City for their generous donations.

The programme was a part of the Reading Action Programme of Lions Club. Lion Dayamoi Singh also donated a sum of Rs. 2000 to the children home.

Cashier Pebam Nodiachand also lauded the efforts of Lions Club.
