Celebrity Media Group was formed in 2011 by a group of sports journalists of the state with the vision of encouraging more sportspersons in the state.

The group has felicitated several outstanding players from the state and offered help.

Presto Wonders Imphal branch proprietor, Th Dayananda Singh wished the players namely L Bombayla (Archery), MC Mary Kom (Boxing), L Devendro (Boxing), Ng Soniya Chanu (Weightlifting) and Kothajit Singh (Hockey) to win medals and bring laurels to the country.

Hoardings and banners featuring the players’ photos will be installed at various locations of the Khuman Lampak sports complex with the hope that it will further encourage the state players who come to the sports complex every-day.

Dayananda also wished for the state to produce more Olympians and outstanding players.

The banners and hoardings will also have several encouraging words for the state players.
