IMPHAL, July 15: A moderate earthquake of magnitude 5.7 ML on the Richter’s Scale rocked the entire Manipur and adjoining regions at 1.55 am today. The earthquake wave took about 18 seconds to reach Imphal. The epicentre was located at 25.357° North / 94.486° East in the Chingai sub-division, Ukhrul district about 88 kilometres from Imphal. The depth of the earthquake is estimated at 8 kilometres and the felt duration is about 6 sec, stated a release of Seismological Observatory of Manipur University.
