IMPHAL, July 8: The state DGP has recently ordered the transfer of several MPS officers in the state.
According to a source, S Raghumani Singh, MPS, Dy SP/SIT has been transferred as SDPO, Moirang; L Lenin Singh, MPS SDPO/Moirang as Dy SP/CID (SB) against existing vacancies; N Mangi Singh, MPS, SDPO/Mayang Imphal as SDPO/Sugnu in Thoubal district and W Singhajit Singh, MPS, SDPO/Sugnu as SDPO/Mayang Imphal in Imphal West.
The state police head had also ordered the transfer of three Inspectors, including RK Anilkumar Singh, Inspector Loktak Protection Force as OC Mayang Imphal; T Inaobi Singh, Inspector OC Mayang Imphal as Loktak Protection Force in Bishnupur district and S Surjaboro Singh, Inspector OC Keibul Lamjao as OC Moirang PS, the source said.
It may be recalled here that, transfer and posting is usually restricted during the assembly session.
