IMPHAL, July 22: RPU, Papal and RYDO, Charangpat registered wins in their group B matches of the ongoing Thoubal district 1st division football league tournament, 2012 at the KRC ground today.
In the first ground match of the day, RPU defeated ASSA, Sangaiyumpham by 3-2 with N Roshan, S Angou and N Somorendro scoring one each for the winning team.
Isur Rahman and Jouddin scored one each for ASSA.
In the second match of the day, RYDO blanked SYVO, Samaram by 4-0, with the help of an own goal from SYVO.
Md Anish, Th Naresh, Biju scored one each for RYDO.
The RYDO was helped by an own goal by Suranjit of SYDO.
LMFA, Heirok will meet SDC, Wangbal while YDA, Tentha will meet WYC, Wangkhem in group A matches tomorrow.
