Tangkhul katamnao Long Imphal appeal

IMPHAL, July 18: Taking serious note of the abducted contractor from Nongdam Maning Leikai who remains untraceable till date, the Tangkhul Katamnao Long, Imphal (TKLI) has sternly condemned the dastard act of the culprits.

According to release of TKLI, it may well be assumed by all that the Naga Society are conniving or conspiring together in remaining silent to this impasse seemingly assuming the role of the culprits. Our belated consolation words and condemning the gory disappearance of the contractor may not be able to dampen the hearts of the victim`s family or the JAC.

However, we have been long anticipating the satisfactory explanation from any group or individual involved in this case. Terming the situation as most inhumane and unfortunate, TKLI appeals one and all irrespective of creed, caste or common identity to condemn such act. We demand for the immediate release of Irungbam Irabanta and come out with the total truth in this connection whoever the culprit might be before the situation blows out of proportion. We are sick of such inhumanity and intrigued which can tantamount to an ugly communal flare-up.

Meanwhile, TKLI also earnestly appeal to the JAC against the contractor abduction case of Irabanta to exercise great restraints and patience in trying to solve an issue of such mammoth and complicated nature. We appeal to kindly defer the hectic decision of the said JAC of blocking the Imphal-Ukhrul road from July 20 in the special interest of the general public and peaceful co-existence that is hard-earned.
