TTUS Alumni Forum inaugurated

IMPHAL, July 15: The Tiny Tots’ Alumni Forum was formally inaugurated on July 14 at the premises of Tiny Tots’ Unique School, Dewlahland, Imphal East.

Dr Y Premchandra, class of 1987-88, graced the function as the chief guest while Kambam Seityajit, RTI activist, class of 1989-90 and A Romita Devi, class of 1989-90, under secretary, Department of Education (S), Manipur were the guests of honour of the inaugural function.

The event was attended by alumni from different batches ranging from Class of 1984 to 2012.

Delivering the key note speech, Principal Daniel Byrne emphasised the importance of the alumni forum which would give a bigger platform for all the students- former and present- where the bond between the alumni and the alma mater will no longer be severed after the students complete their H.S.L.C Examination.

He also offered his gratitude to the entire alumni, especially those who have put in a lot of time and effort in making the event a success and for fulfilling his dream.

The alumni forum also released its first official newsletter and launched its official website www.ttus.org  during the function.

Speakers of the event articulated their excitement and assured that they would strive to make the forum a vibrant one. A two-minute silence was observed in remembrance of the founder of the school, Shining Byrne. The forum also extended their invitation to the alumni of the school in different parts of the globe whom they couldn’t reach out to make the next edition of the alumni meet a bigger and more successful event.

The event was an episode of reminiscence and nostalgia on the part of the alumni who, after many years shared a few prized moments with their former classmates and their teachers.
