IMPHAL, July 20: ABA, Kshetrigao and YWC, Thambalkhong are facing relegation from the Imphal East Super division after their match ended in a draw today at the ongoing Imphal East Super Division Football league tournament played at the Khuman Lampak, Practice Ground.
Meanwhile, in the second ground match of the day YOSC, Khurai faced its first defeat of the tournament in the hands of XI Star, Akampat.
In the first match, ABA and YWC ended their match in a 1-1 draw.
Ajaruddin scored for ABA in the 63rd minute which was equalised by Rahul of YWC in the 71st minute.
ABA has played three games, however, has just one point in its name, whileYWC has played two games and also has one point.
With today’s defeat YOSC’s chances of winning the championship grew slimmer. XI Star after defeating YOSC today is now at four points with two matches remaining while, YOSC has six points but with only one match.
The winner for XI Star was scored by Romesh in the 20th minute.
