Manipur,IMPHAL, August 10: 38 Assam Rifles of 27 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of Red Shield Division conducted a medical camp at Tuikumullum village, under Thanlon sub-division of Churachandpur district on August 10, 2012. The village is located in a remote and far flung areas where basic medical facilities are lacking. Apart from providing medical assistance and free medicines, the medical officer, Assam Rifles also educated the villagers on basic hygiene and other important health related issues, a release said.
