IMPHAL, Aug 5: A six-year-old boy died after getting drowned in a pond at Langol Tarung under Lamphel Police Station today at around 10.30 am.
The deceased boy is identified as Chamkhangam Rongmei, son of Meidinlung Rongmei of Khongrang Tamenglong district and presently staying at Langol Tarung at his uncle Jemgonglung Panmei’s residence. He is studying in standard KG-II at SDA Academy.
Lamphel Police has registered a case regarding the incident.
