IMPHAL, August 8: The closing ceremony of the World Breastfeeding Week (WBW) 2012 was celebrated jointly by Breastfeeding Promotion activities-Manipur (BPAM), Indian Academy of Paediatrics (IAP) Manipur, Imphal Obstetric and Gynrcological Society (IOGS) Manipur and National Neonatology Forum (NNF) Manipur at Jubilee Hall, RIMS on August 7.
The function was attended by AK Mirabai Devi, Minister of Social Welfare, Devesh Deval, IAS, mission director, State Health Society of National Rural Health Mission, Dr N Nabakishore Singh, president, Breastfeeding Promotion Activists Manipur (BPAM), Dr Th Nabachadra, president, National Neonatology Forum (NNF) and Dr Ksh Chourjit Singh, patron, BPAM as chief guest, president and guests of honour respectively.
