Manipur, Maram
The twin programme of freshers’ meet was held at Don Bosco College, Maram, Manipur in a climate of family spirit on 10thaugust 2012. The first programme meant for the freshers of class 11 was graced by the presence of Major Robert TA of the Indian army. He exhorted the students particularly the freshers to work hard and prepare for the future. He also highlighted on the modes of entry to the army and the advantages of serving the country as an army. His presence made the programme a success and his speech inspired many young minds. The second programme was attended by the degree students. Enriching pearls of wisdom were the words of Fr. (Dr) KO Sebastian SDB, the Rector of Don Bosco College, Maram and Fr. Benny James SDB, the principal of DBCMaram. They encouraged the students to be proud of being a Bosconian.

The young, enthusiastic and vibrant students thrilled and enthralled the audience with their stupendous, exciting and colourful items. The different talents of the students were displayed through melodious songs, lively dances and artistic skits. Lunch after the programme made the day’s success complete. It was indeed an unforgettable and a fabulous day. The programme came to a conclusion with an unprecedented feeling of oneness and a sense of belonging to the Bosconian family.
