IMPHAL, August 8: CITY Club, Heirok crowned the new champions of the Thoubal 1st division league football tournament at the KRC, playground today.
The eventual champions defeated NGL, Lourembam by a lone goal today to clinch the trophy with nine points from three wins in the super four round of the league tournament.
The league had started on July 18 with 10 teams participating in two groups.
LMFA, Heirok became the runner’s up while NGL was second runner’s up and RYDO, Charangpat is at the fourth spot.
