IMPHAL, August 10: HISU, Thoubal ended their Thoubal Second division league match today with a convincing 3-0 win over CSWC, Chandrakhong at the KRC ground.
HISU’s three goals were scored by Monesh (12th and 13th) and Suraj (18th).
Meanwhile, the first ground match of the day, played between HIDA, Lilong and SWYC, Charangpat ended in a 1-1 draw.
SH Neta of SWYC scored the first goal of the match in the 4th minute, which was levelled by Aboi of HIDA in the 33rd minute.
Meanwhile, TUC, Thongjao defeated SWSC, Kakching by 2-0 with goals from Paotinlen and Kamthangril in the first match of the Kakching 2nd division football league which kicked off from today at the DSA, kakching ground.
The opening function was attended by vice chairperson, Kakching Municipal Council, M Brojen Singh as chief guest and councillor Ward No 3 of the council, P Modhusudon as president.
The league tournament is participated by six teams.
