IMPHAL, August 2: Konjing Government Jr High School, Bishnupur defeated Career Residential Academy, Thoubal by 5-4 in the final of the state level U-15 boys of the JN Hockey tournament today at the Khuman Lampak Hockey Stadium.
Meanwhile, Career Residential Academy, Thoubal girls defeated Jai Hind High School, I/E by 4-2 in the final of the same tournament U-17 girls’ category.
H Romesh Kumar (38th and 45th), Y Nelson (6th, 55th) and M Ramchandra (58th) were the scorers for Konjing Government Jr High School, Bishnupur, while S Meiraba (17th) S Uttam (22nd), H Romi (52nd) and H mani (56th) scored for Career Residential Academy.
Meanwhile, the U-17 girls’ final ended in a tie-breaker after both teams failed to score any during regular time.
S Ibeni, W Mary, Th Chaoba, S Bidiya scored for Career Residential Academy, TBL while S Sabita and W Mandakini were the only scorers for Jai Hind High School.
