IMPHAL, August 13: UPAA, Kyamgei defeated SSC, Porompat by 4-0 in today’s match of the Imphal East 1st division football league tournament at the Khuman Lampak football practice ground.
Kiran helped with a hattrick in the 15th, 58th and 78th minute while Ak Pradipkumar scored in the 75th minute to help UPAA win the match by 4-0.
With today’s win UPAA is at the top of the points table with 16 points closely followed by Citizens’ Club with 15 points.
In another match of the day, YDC, Potshangbam defeated DOAK, Yairipok by 2-1.
Naocha (22nd) and Naobi (49th) scored for YDC while Boicha scored for DOAK in the 66th minute.
Meanwhile, Citizens’ Club, Soibam Leikai defeated PYA, Kairang by 2-0 while NESU, Khurai defeated TYWO, Takhel by 3-1 in yesterday’s matches of the league tournament.
