IMPHAL, August 18: UPSA, Pukhao defeated YDC, Potshangbam by 4-1 in the first match of the seventh round of the ongoing Imphal East 1st division football league at the Khuman lampak Football practice ground today.
Goals for the winning team were scored by N Raju (56th, 66th) and S Naocha (62nd) and N Ramchandra (72nd) while Paolenlai scored the lone goal for the losing side.
In the second match of the day, DOAK, Yairipok defeated RAU, Khurai Lairik Yengbam by 2-0.
Both the goals of the match were scored in the second half of the match. Md Boycha (71st) and N Basanta (80+1) scored for DOAK.
In another match of the day, PYA, Kairang defeated TYWO, Takhel by 8-1.
Moshin scored five of the PYA goals. Moshin scored the goals in the 10th, 45th, 47th, 48 and 50th with four of them coming in the first ten minutes of the second half.
The other scorers for the winning team are Johnson (63rd and 66th) and Raj Chouhan (74th).
