IMPHAL, August 14: The medical team of 27 Assam Rifles of 28 Sector under HQ IGAR (South) saved the life of a snake bite victim on August 13, 2012. The victim, Kumar Wahengbam, 50, residence of Hiyanglam Village of Thoubal district bitten by a venomous was brought to the Unit Hospital in a critical condition and was immediately attended by medical officer who administered life saving anti snake venom and his condition was stabled. Later he was evacuated to RIMS Hospital, Imphal for further management.
