IMPHAL, August 25: The Manipur Pradesh Trinamool Youth Congress Front (MPTCYF), after noticing the hardship faced by the North-East student and professional, as a result of the sudden exodus, has reached out to the affected north-east people by setting up a helpline at Guwahati led by President of MPTYCF, said a release of MPTYCF.
The helpline has been shut down with the concerned leaders after accomplishing its commendable activities and the problem subsided; now the team has returned home safely, it further said.
MLA Th Biswajit, youth in-charge and The Trinamool Youth have extended their heartfelt gratitude to all the civil organizations for their wonderful co-operation by calling off the proposed bandh in the interest of the North-East people, it said.
The Trinamool Youth has further extended their gratitude to all the well-wisher of the party who have joined hands in making the youth good will mission at Guwahati a success, it added.
