IMPHAL, Aug 26: : Troops of 9 Assam Rifles, HQ IGAR South yesterday apprehended two KYKL cadres from a place near Zalinmoul, Moreh, a press statement stated and added, the arrested includes s/s Pvt Thingnam Thoiba Singh, 44 years, s/o (late) Thingnam Dablo Singh of Kakching Khunou, Awang Khunthak of Thoubal district and s/s Pvt Khumukcham Koireng Singh, also 44 years, s/o Amujao Singh of Thongjao Awang Leikai Thoubal district.
A 9 mm carbine with magazine, ten 9 mm live rounds, one Chinese hand grenade, two mobile phones along with demand letter and a total of Rs 17,000 were recovered from the arrested, the statement said and further added, the arrested were later handed over to Imphal West Police station.
