Two surrender before BSF

IMPHAL, August 18: Two militant cadres, one each from the UNLF and the PULF (MA Laskar) laid down their arms and ammunition before ML Batham, IG BSF M&C Ftr in the presence of Praveen Rathore, DIG (comm) among others at the SHQ BSF CI (ops) Manipur today.

The two surrenderees have been identified as Boinao Simte alias Mangboi Simte (UNLF) of Thelon, CCPur and Hasan Alli (PULF MA Laskar) of Keirao Imphal East.

The arms and ammunitions handed over by the surrenderees are two nos of 9mm pistol, two 9mm magzines and 4 live rounds and one miss fire round of 9mm ammunition.

Meanwhile, ML Batham, also inaugurated a small arms firing range at the BSF campus Koirengei and presented to the BSF firers.
