IMPHAL, August 25: UPAA, Kyamgei defeated NESU, Khurai by 3-0 while Citizens’ Club, Soibam Leikai drew against YDC, Potsangbam today in the Imphal East 1st Division Football League at the Khuman lampak Football practice ground.
The goals for UPAA were scored by Th Kiran (56th, 78th) and Rohit (33rd).
In the second match of the day, CC was held in a goalless draw by YDC.
In the third match of the day, DOAK, Yairipok defeated SSC, Porompat by 3-2. Ch Tamba scored all three goals for DOAK while Lelchan Khongsai (25th) and Kamjahao (69th) scored for SSC.
Meanwhile, in the Thoubal 2nd Division match played today at the KRC ground, TKWA, Tentha defeated PYC, Phoudel by 1-0 with the goal scored by Ph Qukson in the 21st minute.
In the Kakching 2nd div league match played today, TUC, Thongjao defeated AKSA by 2-1.
