IMPHAL, August 14: UPSA, Pukhao defeated Citizens’ Club by a lone goal today at the Khuman lampak Football practice ground in the I/E 1st division football league tournament.
Raju scored the winning goal in the 75th minute.
In the second match of the day, NESU, Khurai defeated RAU, Khurai Lairikyengbam Leikai by 1-0.
NESU’s lone goal was scored by MOYA in the 29th minute.
Meanwhile, in the I/W super division football league at THAU ground, YDO, Konjeng Lamdong defeated IBSA, Yumnam Leikai by 5-0.
The goals were scored by Kishan (56th, 79th), Kipgen (63rd, 77th) and Deepak (73rd) for YDO.
In the second ground match, THAU, Thangmeiband defeated YPHU, Lalambung by 1-0 with a goal from Philimon in the 70th minute.
