IMPHAL, August 9: WAFA, Wangoi defeated KRYPSA, Naoremthong by 1-0 in today’s match of the Imphal West 1st division football league played at the THAU ground today.
In the second ground match of the day which was a Super Division league match, YDO, Konjeng Lamdong defeated NACO, Nambul Mapal by 1-0.
In the first match of the day, WAFA and KRYPSA ended their first half on a goalless draw.
The only goal of the match was scored by M Bimolchand in the 52nd minute.
After today’s win, WAFA has five points from a win and two draws, while KRYPSA has lost all three matches.
In the second match of the day, YDO’s winning goal was scored in the 38th minute by Deepak.
At the end of three matches, NACO has only one point from a draw against THAU, while YDO has three points after two matches with a win and a loss.
