IMPHAL, August 2: Yaitomba defeated RK Devjit by two sets to clinch the gold of the Junior Boy’s Singles of the ongoing 5th Imphal West District Badminton Championship at the Kwakeithel Thiyam Leikai Youths’ Organisation Hall today.
Yaitomba defeated RK Devjit by 2-0 (22-20, 21-15).
In another final played today, Dickson and M Rojit defeated RK Martin and Gambhirchand by 2-0 (21-13, 21-9) in the Sub-Junior Boys’ double.
In the Junior Boys’ Double final, RK Devjit and Yaitomba defeated Yaiphaba and Thangboi by 2-0 (21-12, 21-7).
The championship which was inaugurated on July 30 will end tomorrow.
