IMPHAL, September 27: NYVA, Naorem lifted both the sub junior and junior boys’ titles at the ongoing state level volleyball tournament at the Khuman Lampak Indoor Stadium today.
KYVA, Khoijuman and SYDA, Mutum Phibou lifted the titles of the Mini Boys’ and Women’s event.
In the final match of the 11th Mini Boy’s State level Volleyball tournament, KYVA defeated SUWC (A), Irengbam by 3-1 set (25-21, 25-18, 22-25, 25-19), while in the 4th women’s tournament final SYDA defeated NYVA by 3-1 (28-30, 25-15, 25-23, 25-23).
In the final of the 11th Sub Junior Boys’ tournament, NYVA defeated SUWC (A) by 3-0 (25-16, 25-12, 25-18) while in the 32nd Junior Boys’ Tournamnet final NYVA defeated KYSU (B), Kairembikhok by 3-2 (16-25, 25-15, 25-13, 19-25, 15-13).
The tournament had commenced on September 21.
All Manipur Sports Association, general secretary RK Sanyaima Singh, All Manipur Volleyball Association, president KC Sharma and social worker, N Ingo Singh attended the closing function as the chief guest, president and the guest of honour, respectively.
