“Daiho Mao, 37, was a sincere, hard-working and dynamic journalist who maintained integrity. The passing away of Daiho Mao is a loss to the media fraternity as a whole.”

“Daiho Mao joined the media in 1995 and worked in The Shillong Times in the Meghalaya capital. He then joined The Asian Age. At the time of his passing away, Daiho was working in Nagaland Post stationed at Kohima”, it said.

“We, the journalists here in Manipur share the grief stricken family members of the late journalist. Our prayers will always be with late Daiho Mao’s wife and his three little children. May the good Lord take care of Daiho’ soul.”
