IMPHAL, September 3: The Bobo Memorial 2nd Division Football League Tournament 2012 begins today at Khuman Lampak Practice Ground organized by Imphal East District Football Association with 10 teams divided in two groups.
In the opening match of Group (A) today, PYPC Pungdongbam beat BPYC Bashikhong 1-0. The lone goal of the match was scored by L Arunnath in the 33rd minute.
L Sunil (21st minute) and M Manisana (61st minute) of PYPC were shown yellow cards by the referee.
The inauguration function was attended MLA of Thongju Kendra, ThBishworjit and President of IEDFA, KhMohori as the chief guest and president respectively. Family members of the donor of tournament also attended the function.
