IMPHAL, September 1: The 12th International Drug Overdose Awareness Day function was held at Manipur Central Jail, Sajiwa for the drug addict inmates yesterday. The function was jointly held under the aegis of Manipur Aids Control Society (MACS), Manipur Network for Positive (MNP+), UNODC and Manipur Central Jail Sajiwa.
The function was attended by Dr Gopal Krishna and Dr Mena, both deputy directors in MSACS as resource persons.
It was also attended by Abhiram Mongjam, joint director, MSACS, Dr LR Kom, deputy director, MSACS and SP Jail Immanuel K Muivah among other experts resource persons.
Dr A Angomcha, psychiatrist, Bishnupur District and A Sunil Singh of MNP+ were among the panellists. MNP+ President Deepak Singh gave the vote of thanks.
