IMPHAL, Sept 24: The Irabot Celebration Committee, Thongju organised the 116th Jananeta Hijam Irabot Ningshing Thouram at the Panthoibi Community Hall, Kshetri Leikai today.
The function was attended by CPI MSC, secretary, Dr M Nara, Irabot Celebration Committee, Thongju advisor N Kunjashyam, Imphal East district CPI secy Th Yaishkul and Social Worker M Jayenta as chief guest, president and guest of honour respectively.
A recitation competition of poems related to the leader Hijam Irabot for students was also held during the function.
The winners of the recitation competition were also awarded during the function while the other participants were provided consolation prize.
