IMPHAL, September 5: Kamakhya Pemton College and Biramangol College today booked berths for quarterfinals of the ongoing Inter college football tournament at the Kha Manipur College, Kakching.
In the first match of the day, Kamakhya Pemton defeated Manipur College through the tie breaker by 6-4.
Both teams were locked in a 2-2 draw at the end of the normal time.
James (64th) Shyamjai (72nd) scored for Kamakhya Pemton while Bharat scored both the goals for Manipur College in the 60th and the 65th minute.
Robinson, Devadas, James and Shyamjai scored the spot kicks for Kamakhya Pemton while, Awenson and Bharat scored for the Manipur College team.
In the second ground match of the day, Biranmangol College defeated South East Manipur College by 2-0.The scorers are L ROmesh (2nd) and P Lanchalung Kabui (30th).
