Manipur, IMPHAL, Sept 19: The state government will provide three (3) additional subsidised LPG cylinders per annum per household in addition to the six subsidised cylinder to be provided by Central government, a statement said and added, the state cabinet in a meeting held today discussed the impact of Central Government decision to provide LPG cylinder per annum.
It was observed that poor people may face difficulty in affording un-subsidised LPG cylinder, it said and added, the cabinet decided to provide financial support for additional three cylinders per connection/household per annum.
The cabinet also took several decisions for streamlining and revamping the PDS system in the state, the statement added.
