IMPHAL, Spet 9: Discovering the presence of UG cadres in Moreh Ward No 8, troofs of 9AR of 26 Sector under hq IGAR (S) launched an operation and apprehended one KYKL cadre on September 8, said a pro IGAR (S) release.
It added, the apprehendee has been identified as s/s captain Keisham Nanao SIngh alias Thangboi alias Tamthiba, 25 son of Keisham Joy of Ward no 8, Moreh.
Two IEDs weighing 3.5kgs and seven 5.56mm live rounds were recovered from him, it said.
the apprehendee alongwith the items have been handed over to the I/W police, it said.
