IMPHAL, Sept 9: The United National Liberation Front, UNLF has refuted the charges made against their leaders, chairman, Sana Yaima and organization secretary, M Nongyai alias Joy and termed the ongoing trial as a “mock trial” saying India has no right to conduct any trial of chairman RK Sana Yaima.
In a statement issued to the press, UNLF senior publicity officer, Ksh Yoiheiba stated, it is against any norm or international law to make false charges against anyone and conduct a trial. UNLF never waged any war against India, the statement added.
UNLF is a resistance group, the statement said and added, it was formed to protect the people of Manipur and safeguard human rights and fight against any invaders.
